Meet Your Partners:

Howard L. Carroll

Howard L. Carroll, C.P.A. received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Miami. After serving as a First Lt. in the U.S. Army, he returned to the University of Miami graduate school for the Masters in Taxation program. Mr. Carroll joined the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse and Company and remained there until he was offered a partnership in a local C.P.A. firm where he served as Director of Accounting and Auditing.

Currently, Mr. Carroll is a partner in Carroll and Cook, C.P.A.’s which he founded in 1978. Mr. Carroll’s background includes extensive experience in the audit and taxation of construction, real estate, manufacturing and professional service firms. Currently, he serves as Treasurer for the Davie-Cooper City Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Carroll also served as the President and Treasurer of Davie-Cooper City Rotary Club.

Cynthia L. Busher

Cynthia L. Busher, C.P.A. joined Carroll & Cook, C.P.A.’s as a partner in December of 2003. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting and her Masters in Accounting from Florida State University.

Mrs. Busher started her professional career with the international firm of Deloitte and Touche, LLP. As a Senior Manager, she provided audit and advisory services to many of South Florida’s leading public and private corporations in various industries with a specialization in Employee Benefit Plans.
